Cryptomegaphone Press Release Publishing Guidelines

Last updated: November 19, 2025

Cryptomegaphone accepts professionally prepared press releases from blockchain, fintech, and Web3 organizations. These guidelines outline what companies must follow to ensure accuracy, clarity, compliance, and transparency.

Press releases are paid submissions handled by our commercial partnerships team, not by the editorial newsroom.

1. What Is a Press Release?

A press release is a sponsored announcement created by a company to share official information, such as:

  • Funding announcements
  • Product launches
  • Token listings
  • Partnerships
  • Roadmap updates
  • Exchange integrations
  • Leadership changes
  • Network upgrades
  • Corporate statements

Press releases are not investigative or independent journalism.

2. How Press Releases Are Labeled

To maintain transparency and compliance:

  • All press releases are labeled clearly as “Press Release” or “Sponsored Press Release”.
  • A disclosure appears at the top of the article.
  • A second disclosure appears at the bottom.
  • Press releases are placed in a dedicated Press Releases category.

There is no ambiguity — readers always know they are viewing sponsored content.

3. Required Structure for Press Releases

To maintain clarity and professionalism, your press release must include:

✔ 1. Title

Concise and factual — no hype or exaggeration.

2. Subtitle (optional)

A short supporting line of context.

3. City & Date Line

Example: Zug, Switzerland – Jan 14, 2025

✔ 4. Body Content

Should include:

  • What is happening
  • Why it matters
  • Who is involved
  • Verified metrics or details
  • Relevant and factual claims only

✔ 5. Company/Project Overview

Short “About Us” section (max 150 words).

✔ 6. Contact Information

Including:

  • Name or department
  • Email address
  • Website or official social profiles

✔ 7. Legal/Compliance Statements (if applicable)

Such as risk disclosures, regulatory status, disclaimers, etc.

4. Content Requirements

To ensure quality, all press releases must:

  • Be written in clear, professional English
  • Be factually accurate
  • Avoid fabricated or unverifiable claims
  • Avoid any promises of returns or investment advice
  • Be free from plagiarism
  • Follow local and international advertising standards
  • Be at least 350–500 words in length

We reserve the right to adjust formatting for readability.

5. Prohibited Content in Press Releases

Cryptomegaphone does not publish press releases that include:

  • Guaranteed returns, APY promises, or profit claims
  • Financial advice or trading recommendations
  • Claims designed to manipulate token price
  • Misleading statements or false information
  • Illegal activities or unregistered securities
  • Hidden promotions or undisclosed paid links
  • Rug-pull–associated projects or severe red flags

  • 24–48 hours after verification and payment

Publishing time may vary based on queue, revisions, or compliance checks.

10. Refunds & Revisions
