Crypto.com launched a standalone prediction markets platform called OG, offering U.S. users access to federally regulated event contracts tied to sports and other outcomes, according to a company announcement.
Platform targets real-world outcome trading
The platform provides a dedicated venue for trading contracts based on real-world events, beginning with major U.S. sports such as the Super Bowl and expanding into categories including finance, politics, entertainment and culture, the company said.
Event contracts offered through CFTC-regulated entity
OG’s contracts are offered through Crypto.com | Derivatives North America, which operates as a designated contract market overseen by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, according to the company.
Prediction markets draw growing industry attention
The launch comes as event-based contracts have gained visibility across U.S. trading and fintech platforms, with firms expanding offerings around major national events.
